Tahoe Beach Engagement Photoshoot | Ari + Shawn

Ari and Shawn’s Lake Tahoe beach engagement photoshoot was what dreams are made of. A couple who is so unapologetically themselves and SO incredibly in love. I’m so honored to be able to freeze their love in time for their engagement photos (and wedding photos!!).

These two brought the heat to the beach (and I’m not just talking about golden hour). Ari and Shawn are one of those couples you instantly fall in love with. They’re magnetic, full of energy, and totally, unapologetically themselves.

If you’re a soap fan, yes—you probably recognize them from Days of Our Lives (cue the dramatic music). But out here on the shores of Lake Tahoe, it wasn’t about scripts or cameras—it was just about them. Their laughter, their love, their goofiness, and the way they looked at each other like no one else existed.

We started the shoot with sandy toes and sunshine, letting them just do their thing on the beach (my favorite kind of shoot—just pure fun). There was twirling, tickling, bear hugs, and some Vogue-worthy moments too, because hello, these two know how to bring it. The light danced off the lake the entire evening and wrapped around them like a warm hug, and every single frame looked like a love letter.

But what got me the most? It wasn’t the perfect light or the perfect location—it was how fiercely these two love. The kind of love that’s full of belly laughs, real talk, deep connection, and big “ride or die” energy. You can feel it in every photo. Honestly, they made my job way too easy.

And as if our beach day in Tahoe wasn’t dreamy enough… I got to photograph their wedding day later on too! Watching their story come full circle—from that golden, sandy engagement session to saying “I do” surrounded by loved ones—was something truly special.
