Okay, so you know when a wedding just feels like the couple in every single way? That was Sammy & Tony’s Pinecrest Chalet wedding—laid-back, adventurous, and full of love (and a little bit of disco).
Pinecrest wasn’t just a pretty location for their wedding—it was home for Sammy. She grew up spending summers here with her family, going to camp with her sister, and making memories in their family cabin. So, when it came time to choose a place to get married, there was nowhere else that made sense. They turned their wedding into a whole weekend experience, with their favorite people all staying in cozy little cabins, daily group runs through the trees, and the cutest little mountain-town energy.
I think their sweet dog Bam Bam was the most excited about this weekend in the pines. He was surrounded by his favorite people and got to spend his days outside running around.

They kicked off the weekend with a disco welcome party. Costumes and all. Sequins, sparkles, retro vibes...it was everything. The perfect way to kick off a weekend that was all about fun, love, and a little bit of chaos.
The wedding itself? Pure magic. Pinecrest gave us the dreamiest golden light, especially when we snuck away at sunset into the ferns (seriously, unreal). The whole day was packed with joy, happy tears, and the kind of love that just radiates.
And then, there were the vows.
This moment had me feeling all the feelings. On their very first date, Sammy was so nervous that she brought a beer with her...and then they never actually opened it. So, during her vows, she pulled out a beer and told Tony it was finally time. After the ceremony, they snuck away, cracked it open, and finally shared that beer—eight years later. It felt like it was straight out of a movie I swear.
Between the cabins, the running crew, the disco, the dog, the vows, and that sunset—this wedding had it all. It was one of those weekends that felt less like an event and more like a giant celebration of love, friendship, and the best kind of memories.
Sammy & Tony, you two are absolute legends, and I’m so honored to have captured this epic Pinecrest Chalet wedding. Cheers to finally opening that beer and a lifetime of adventures ahead. ✨
